Are you looking to make your own Christmas tree decorations? You’ve come to the right place! Our lightweight craft lolly sticks can be transformed into a collection of seasonal ornaments.

To make your Lolly Stick Tree Decorations:

Start by picking your favourite festive character and collecting your materials. We used white felt and a red lolly stick to create Santa Claus here, but you could also try Rudolph, an elf, or even Frosty the Snowman.
Trim a small piece of skin-toned card to use as the base of Santa’s face. Next, attach two googly eyes and cut out the felt to make a beard. Add a hat by cutting out a piece of red paper and sticking a small white pom pom to the end.
Add another piece of white felt and a black belt to the centre of the lolly stick.

Use a black marker to draw buttons onto Santa’s coat and add any other details such as his feet.
Measure a small length of ribbon or string and glue it to the back of your lolly stick.
Finally, set your Christmas tree decorations aside to dry until they are ready to hang on the tree!

Gingerbread House Ornament: Use Natural Lolly Sticks to create handmade gingerbread tree decorations. Arrange the lolly sticks side-by-side and secure them on the back with tape. Complete the structure with a roof then decorate with sequins, multicoloured pom poms and buttons. Try adding extra details by cutting out a mini wreath and windows to finish!
Lolly Stick Snowflake Ornament: Stack and stick lolly sticks to create a snowflake shape and decorate them using glitter, pom poms or paint. We used six blue lolly sticks and Snowflake Sequins, but you can use as many sticks as you like to get creative and make a truly unique snowflake!
Reindeer Lolly Stick Craft: This easy-to-make Christmas reindeer is a fun activity for toddlers and young children. Simply glue three lolly sticks into a triangle shape and attach two eyes. Complete the reindeer by sticking a red pom pom for the nose and some string to hang the ornament.
