Create Sparkly Fireworks Pictures for Bonfire Night
Create a dazzling fireworks picture for bonfire night using paint, cardboard tubes and glitter! A simple yet effective craft project for young children. Follow the instructions below to make a sparkly firework design this Guy Fawkes night.

You will need:
- Card
- Paints
- Glitter
- The cardboard tube from a toilet roll
- Paintbrush
To make your sparkly fireworks picture:
- Start by taking your cardboard tube and carefully cutting a vertical line up from the bottom for about 5cm. Repeat this around the bottom of the tube
- Next, bend these cuts so that they stick out from the tube.
- Add your paints to a pot – we mixed white red and orange to match the colours you might find in a firework.
- Then dip your cardboard tube into your paint mix and stamp on your piece of card paper. Repeat this as many times as you like
- To finish your firework display, add some glitter! Sprinkle glitter over the wet paint and shake off the excess. Once dry you will have a beautiful, sparkly firework display picture to hang up!
