Materials you will need:

To make the Pirate Hat, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Start by printing off your free downloadable pirate hat template and carefully cut out each component.
  2. Glue one side of the two black bands together and glue the second side to fit your child’s head.
  3. Then glue the front of your hat onto the black band (feel free to decorate this however you like!)
  4. Finally, thread some string through the eye patch and there you have your hat and eye patch!

To make the Pirate Telescope, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Decorate the narrowest cardboard tube by covering with a sheet of coloured card. Glue it into position and trim off any overhanging card with scissors.
  2. Next, cover the second tube with a different coloured card and secure in the same way.
  3. Fit the smallest tube inside the larger tube.
  4. Using your gems, glitter and other accessories, decorate your telescope to your hearts content. Once dry your telescope is ready to play with!
