About Engage Literacy
The Engage Literacy reading scheme provides all of the aforementioned and can be used as a stand-alone primary school reading scheme or complement and enhance your current reading scheme. At Early Years Resources we offer packs from this book-banded reading programme, consisting of 11 colour coded bands, covering a huge variety of subjects to capture the interest of all young readers.
The award-winning primary school reading scheme combines levelled high-interest fiction paired with non-fiction books, full of engaging artwork and stimulating photographs. Ideal for both guided and independent reading, each book is precisely levelled to ensure progression, with new vocabulary being introduced and reinforced throughout the bands.
Engage Literacy Reading Bands
In each band there are thematically linked fiction and non-fiction books to help develop a love for both factual reads and stories. A sense of continuity is created through the use of well-loved characters as the children progress though the levels.
